An unforgettable food experience in the cooking school of Chef Giuseppina in the fascinating medieval walled-in city of Certaldo Alto.
The lovely cooking school is located along the city walls, at the south-end facing the panoramic view. Giuseppina and her sons will welcome you in their little cosy school where you will share an unforgettable food experience, enjoying how easy can be to knead a pasta and prepare a Tiramisù.
Giuseppina will show her way of making delicious traditional dishes, easy to re-make back home, providing precious suggestions about right products to buy. Cooking experience is a great fun and such a special pleasure having your self-made Tuscan lunch! After lunch, you will get a cooking school’s certification and still have some time to explore the beauties of the place and taste the local specialty “Cappuccino Boccaccio”.
Birthplace of poet Boccaccio, author of “Il Decamerone” written in 1351, Certaldo Alto is a medieval Borgo, surprising you for the terracotta bricked streets and magic atmosphere given by the slow pace and quality life of their inhabitants, local aged people, young talented handcraftsmen, intellectuals.
