HOW TO GET IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL TO UNLOAD YOUR LUGGAGE?
Our hotel is located in the historic center, in an enchanting position subject to a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). It is possible to drive to the entrance to unload luggage and then return to parking lots 3-4: in this case, we kindly ask you to communicate your vehicle's license plate number in advance, so that we can authorize your access.

WHAT WE RECOMMEND:
If you have little luggage or suitcases with wheels, you can park directly at parking lots No. 3/4, use the elevator across the street under the trees that will take you to the walls of the historic center, walking to the hotel on the central St. Matteo Street via St. Martino Street.
It is about 300 meters mostly flat. It is a good choice if you want to avoid entering/exiting the historic center by car. It is a short, quiet and suggestive walk, to enter the slow rhythm of the city and immediately begin to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place.
As you see in the photo to the side, you will see these signs forcing you to go left, however you are allowed to go on for the remaining 20 meters to St. Matthew Street.
The hotel is located about 30 meters to the left, however, since it is a one-way street, please reach the hotel in reverse, so that you will then be ready to return to the parking lot from the same road you just took.
Parking lots 3/4 are public where you enter by taking an automatic ticket and pay at the cashier before leaving.

In front of parking lots there is an elevator that leads to an entrance in the walls of the historic center. From here it is possible to walk about 300 meters to the hotel. There are also some free parking lots around the city walls However San Gimignano is absolutely safe in every respect.
